The maps below are the current NBN Atlas maps from the HBRG datasets.  Our datasets are usually updated twice a year.




The Black Isle nest of a Hornet was almost certainly
established by an imported queen.
The animated maps below show the colonisation of Highland by D. saxonica and V. germanica.  The latter was present as far N as Dingwall before 1979, but then no records in Highland until 2011.
