Gall on Hawkweed
HBRG had an enjoyable outing along the Speyside Way and woodland south of Grantown-on-Spey last summer, the main target of the meeting was to rediscover galls of Aulacidea nibletti on the flowerheads of Common Hawkweed.  We didn't find any then, but Bob and I were walking just a bit further south on the Speyside Way today and we found a few galls on Hawkweed (1st 2 photos).  They were mostly on the stems, which I think are Aulacidea hieracii  rather than A. nibletti, however, there was one which was at least partly on the flowerhead (3rd photo) so I wondered if that could be A nibletti.
